Round in circles

As I run round in non-existing circles
day and night, day in day out
the last endless one hundred yards
determined to allow oneself being put to the test by the rules
with one’s shadow running distorted
cast endlessly along the same track
passing all over again the same finishing line
at great speed
mirror resounding of glass smithereens
in the joints of one’s flesh and bones
the sleep the vast sports centre
replete with echoes.

“Alergare în cerc”

Cercul în care alerg ca şi cum nu există.
Este zi şi noapte ziua şi noaptea
interminabila ultimă sută de metri
voinţa de a te lăsa siluit de regulile ei
umbra-ţi fugind diformă
proiectată la fel pe aceleaşi porţiuni de distanţă
luarea de la capăt a ungherelor
spre care coteşti în goană
oglinda rezonanţa ei de sticlă pisată
în încheieturile fiinţei tale din carne şi oase
somnul vasta sală de antrenament
plină de ecouri.
